The Wyoming Tribune Eagle is the daily newspaper in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is the second largest publication in the state of Wyoming. The Wyoming Tribune Eagle is a member of Adams Publishing Group and works alongside the Laramie Boomerang to cover southeast Wyoming.
I worked as a reporting intern at the Wyoming Tribune Eagle and the Laramie Boomerang from June-August 2022. At both papers, I contributed to daily news briefs, wrote about how national issues impacted the local community and covered major events like Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Davis Sr. – not to be confused with his son, Gen. Benjamin O. Davis Jr., who himself was an important historical figure – was the first Black one-star general in the U.S. Armed Forces and lived in Quarters 64 in 1912.

LARAMIE – Amid a continuing economic crisis, food pantries across Wyoming are missing a valued federal resource this month.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program, known as TEFAP, provides state agencies with fresh, American-grown produce, grains and protein-filled foods for low-income households.
